In 2010, the founders of Tri-State Fencing, Inc., realized a market demand for a fence contractor in the Tri-State area. With a solid past history in the construction business and business management, the founders began the process of acquiring or building a brand-new Fence Installation Company.
The efforts of acquiring or partnering in a Fence business soon came to a halt. The founders wanted to ensure that their business was organized, reputable, trustworthy, reliable, with exceptional quality, and strong customer relations. Therefore, it was decided to build a Fence Construction Company from scratch. This new company will specialize in all styles of fence and work in all market areas.
This new business would become Tri-State Fencing serving all areas of the Tri-State (KY/WV/OH) and beyond. The business started out strong. Jobs were booked and completed on various residential and commercial jobs with high customer satisfaction. Then Tri-State got involved in the Industrial market and the business has never looked back.
Then in 2015 the owners of Tri-State Fencing were approached by McNiel Fence Company of Charleston with a potential acquisition of the McNiel business. The McNiel Fence name in the Charleston area has been in people’s minds since 1947. The McNiel name in Charleston truly carries a lot of weight enshrined with “Exceptional Quality.”
Therefore, Tri-State Fencing decided to purchase all of McNiel Fence of Charleston’s assets. McNiel in itself was one of the biggest fence companies in WV. Now with Tri-State Fencing and McNiel Fence Company of Charleston joining forces, the conglomerate of Tri-State Fencing is a major player in fence installation and retail business.
Both Tri-State Fencing and McNiel Fence of Charleston operate from their local offices in Catlettsburg, KY and South Charleston WV, respectfully. Individuals/Companies may call the office nearest their place of need to receive information. Both companies specialize in all styles of fence and will perform work in any job setting. Also, the installation and service of Gate Openers from both locations is another service offered at each location.
